(PHYSOLOGICAL BIRTH)

Before the birth:

Before booking anything we meet - either online or in person - to make sure we are a good fit and that you feel comfortable inviting me into your birth space. Once you are ready to book, I send you a questionnaire, contract and invoice; a 50% deposit is required to secure your booking.

In the lead-up:

I am on call for you from 38 weeks. I turn on emergency bypass on my phone so that no matter what time of the day or night you call me, my phone will ring. My camera bag stays packed and ready to leave at all times.

on the day of the birth:

I come whenever you would like me to come, and stay for up to 12 hours. If you are birthing at home and need to transfer to hospital, I come with you if allowed. If you are birthing in a hospital and need an emergency c-section, I come with you if allowed.

If I miss the birth:

If I miss the birth due to no fault of my own, I’m there immediately afterwards or within 48 hours to capture you and your baby while they are still fresh. As I have to put so many things on hold while I am on call, I do not offer a refund for missed births.

After the birth:

A high-resolution digital gallery is emailed to you 2-3 weeks after your birth. Once you have received your gallery, you have the option to let me know if there are images you would prefer I didn’t share on social media/website/competitions, etc. I understand and respect the delicate nature of birth and know that not everyone wants their birth photos shared.
